Dear Simon
I would like to take the opportunity to let you know how delighted we have been with the response to our advertisement in the Digest.
To date we have 81 inquiries from throughout the South Island and suprisingly one from Auckland. I have attached a list of locations for your information. Three weeks after publication we are still receiving regular inquiry and the current level would suggest that this will cotinue for sometime yet.
One of the most pleasing aspects of the responses to date has been the qualified nature of the inquiry. All advertising draws a certain number of people that will never be in your target market, the responses we are receiving reflect a higher than usual number of prospective purchasers rather than just information collectors.
Although it is too early to quantify the amount of business we will generate from our advertisment I am confident that our investment in your publication will be generously rewarded.
Yours faithfully
